There are no new features for version 8.6.1.
You can upgrade to Commander version 8.6.1 from versions 8.0.x - 8.6.x. See Upgrading Commander in the Installation Guide.

Deprecations and removals
There are no deprecations or removals for version 8.6.1. Any deprecations or removals encountered in subsequent 8.6 releases will be noted in the relevant release notes.
- 19893 In some cases, Commander upgrades could fail when using SQL 2012 or 2014 as the database. This no longer occurs.
- 19992 After a billing reset for a private cloud account, support costs configured to be applied continuously are now properly applied to VMs that are powered off.
There are no known issues for version 8.6.1. Any known issues encountered in subsequent 8.6 releases will be noted in the relevant release notes.
