Setting Service Portal Cost Dashboard Permissions

For Service Portal users to view the Cost Dashboard for the services they own, you need to enable appropriate permissions in Commander.

Setting Service Portal Cost Dashboard visibility

Users must belong to organizations to view them in the Service Portal Cost Dashboard.

Access through:

Configuration > Identity and Access > Service Portal Roles tab > Organization Management section > Show Cost Dashboard row

Available to:

Commander Roles of Superuser and Enterprise Admin

To allow Service Portal users to view the Cost Dashboard and services for their organization:

  • On the Service Portal Roles page, enable checkboxes next to Show Cost Dashboard for each level of user.

Setting Service Portal Organization Services visibility

Access through:

Configuration > Identity and Access > Service Portal Roles tab > Organization Management section > Show All Organization Services row

Available to:

Commander Roles of Superuser and Enterprise Admin

To allow Service Portal users to view Organization Services:

  • Enable checkboxes next to Show All Organization Services for each level of user.

Costing Service Portal Roles - Show Organization

  • Enabling organization services allows users to select the All Services option in the top-right corner of the Service Portal page.

    Access through:

    Configuration > Identity and Access > Service Portal Roles tab > Basic Operations section > View Managed System Details row

    • Enable checkboxes next to View Managed System Details for each level of user.
